This Works is a brand I've really grown to love over the past year or so, it all started with the much loved pillow spray, and my obsessions grew and grew with every product I tried. There are loads of cult products form the brand I could talk about, but today I wanted to share my top three which I would highly recommend you all trying. Whether you're looking for skincare or body care, This Works is a great all round natural brand, and it's British, so I love supporting them and their work! This Works was founded in 2003 by beauty expert Kathy Phillips in the hopes to achieve modern, natural beauty products anyone can use, they don't test on animals, and I just adore the overall ethos of the brand.

Summer is almost over and if you're anything like me, your tan will be fading and your white skin is starting to peek through. On my face I very rarely use tanning products, I find myself reaching for them a lot more when I'm trying to keep my body in summer mode. I love the Clarins Gradual Face Tanner and I've used it for a couple of years, so when they released the Glow Booster Drops I was dying to give them a try.

It's nice every now and then to have a little ramble about things you've been loving and recommending to all your friends. As much as I adore coming up with creative ideas and posts to share with you all, today I just wanted to to write about something simple, but you something you can still take something away from. My makeup and skincare has had a massive change in the last few weeks due my skin becoming super sensitive all of a sudden, more about that in an upcoming post, so my palette for products has differed somewhat.

Five To Try.

Since I heard about Charlotte Tilbury's new Hot Lips lip launch and that she was going to be collaborating with so many amazing celebrities, I knew I had to mark down the release date in my diary. Her lipsticks are fantastic, the packaging feels super luxe and I love the formula. As it's still summertime, I really wanted a lipstick that's a bit brighter and bit bolder, and it just so happened that Miranda May was exactly what I was looking for. Miranda Kerr is by far one of my biggest women crushes, along with Olivia Palermo, I love her style, her makeup and she's overall a pretty beautiful woman, this is the closest I'll ever get to being her...

Yes I bought another eyeshadow palette, and no, I'm not sorry about it. It may seem excessive that us gals need a million and one eyeshadows to choose from every morning, but every palette is different and has something good to offer, right?! I've heard loads of good things about the Zoeva eyeshadows and after having a scan through their products, I settled on the Naturally Yours palette which has every shade of neutral you could ever want. These retail for £18, not too shabby for 10 good quality eyeshadows, yes the packaging is a bit cardboardy and not the most luxe feeling, but the shades themselves are great.

When I'm in the shower I want to be in and out as quickly as I can, I want things to smell amazing and do a good job at rejuvenating my body. I tend to shower at night, sometimes in the morning, it depends what I'm doing, so I have a mixture of things I keep at arms reach. If I'm showering in the mooring, I'll use a scrub and shower oil, then in the evenings I love a creamy body wash which smells super comforting and sweet.

For me, being able to keep track of what I'm putting into my body and what exercise I'm doing is a massive incentive for me to be as healthy as I can. There's something about writing down all the crap you've eaten which makes you feel very dissatisfied and kind of guilty. I'm not saying one piece of cake will be the end of world and how dare you consume such a thing, I'm just saying taking more time to think of what you're eating on the whole will benefit you greatly, and will make you feel super good when it comes to logging it. I picked up a food and exercise journal from Kikki K at the beginning of the year in the hopes to cross off my super super cliche new years resolution...I think we can all take a guess of what it might have been...it has definitely made me more aware of how much movement I'm doing, or sometimes not doing, and the meals I'm putting together. As it's been about 8 months since I set out on this goal, I thought I'd share with you my reasons for investing in a fitness journal.

Why You Should Invest In A Health And Fitness Journal.
