Since I heard about Charlotte Tilbury's new Hot Lips lip launch and that she was going to be collaborating with so many amazing celebrities, I knew I had to mark down the release date in my diary. Her lipsticks are fantastic, the packaging feels super luxe and I love the formula. As it's still summertime, I really wanted a lipstick that's a bit brighter and bit bolder, and it just so happened that Miranda May was exactly what I was looking for. Miranda Kerr is by far one of my biggest women crushes, along with Olivia Palermo, I love her style, her makeup and she's overall a pretty beautiful woman, this is the closest I'll ever get to being her...
The formula of this lipstick is definitely more sheer than some others from Charlotte, but I like that in a bold lip as you can have it as intense as you wish, and I do find it lasts well throughout day with a few touch-ups. The colour is a beautiful deep pinky coral, a stunning shade for the summer, especially with tanned skin. Charlotte created this colour to compliment Miranda's blue eyes, I don't have blue eyes myself, but I still love wearing it and think it would suit everyone. Whenever I think of putting on a bold lip, I always chose a colour like this over a red as I find it a lot less harsh and very pretty and flattering. The finish of this is a bit more on the shiny side, it's not matte, which I know some people prefer when they opt for a brighter colour, but as it's very buildable I don't mind the slightly gloss finish for everyday.

It's also worth mentioning the shape of the bullet, it's a lot more square than other lipsticks I own, but it makes it so much easier to create a precise line, it's genius! The lip imprint is also a very lovely touch and of course the rose gold packaging is amazing, CT just gets everything right!
