I think we all know about the REN Ready Steady Glow Toner - it's a staple in so many people's skincare collections, and I feel like it's always in those 'top skincare products' type posts we see dotted around the internet. I'm all for a toner, and personally hadn't tried one before that had some kind of acid in there, so I was pretty excited to start incorporating this into my routine. REN do make this in many different sizes, so if you're an avid user, or if you want a travel size to test it out, you will be able to find a good ml for your needs! A big plus in my books.

Let's talk about skin types before hopping into the review. My skin type is dry/combo, so it can be a little bit of everything depending on the weather, diet, water intake etc. I do struggle with some texture around my forehead and chin, something this claims to help with.

The packaging I'm low-key in love with - the pump dispenser is such a genius idea and I find it a lot easier to use. I would also recommend picking up some reusable cotton pads, which is my personal way of applying this, they are just as good normal pads but you can wash and reuse them!

As far as the ingredient list goes, this contains Lactic Acid, Willow Bark Extract and Azelaic Acid - together these will help to even out the skin tone, exfoliate, minimise pores, smooth the skin, and add radiance.  I would say it delivers on all of these claims - so yes it's worth the hype in my opinion.

I use this just in the evenings mainly, but I have used it in the mornings too if my skin is being particularly problematic. As I mentioned, I suffer with some texture around the face, and this really helps to minimise that. I've been using it for a good few months, so I feel qualified to recommend it if you too are suffering with similar issues. Even though my skin can lean more on the dry side I don't find the AHA ingredients to be too harsh for my skin. I will always follow with the rest of my skincare routine, but on the whole I haven't found it to strip my skin at all.

Would I repurchase? Yes!
