I looove me a primer. Even on the most minimal of makeup days, I will always reach for primer or two. Not so much to make sure my makeup doesn't diminish into a state of nothingness throughout the day - although that definitely is a bonus - but to make my skin look a little better without piling on the foundation.

In winter, I will always grab for those dewy primers which give you that amazing supermodel glowing skin in about two seconds. They are the bees knees, am I right?! I just feel like a bucketload of glow is exactly what my skin needs when it's looking lacklustre and dull.

I have three primer options which I want to share with you today. All of which are very 'winter skin' appropriate, and can even be layered on those days you're feeling a bit extra.

The first is one I love to transition from those warm summer days where a good ol' tan is on the cards - aaa, how I miss thee - into the cold days where you can't tell where my white socks end, and my legs start...pale girl problems, eh?

So, on days when I'm feeling hella pale - aka all the time - I will reach for my This Works Perfect Look Skin Miracle. This adds a nice warm glow, without giving off Wotsist vibes. It is also fab at evening out the tone of my skin, therefore spending less time on foundation and concealer. Winner.

If you don't wear a lot of makeup, this is a great option as it's such a simple product to use, but makes a big difference. It's also surprisingly hydrating for a bronzing primer, which is such a bonus during the cold months.

If you're after a primer which is going to smooth over any imperfections and add a slight dose of radiance, the NARS Radiance Primer has you covered.

When I think of a radiance primer, I think of a product which contains quite a lot of shimmer, or has a very evident champagne or golden glow. This however, doesn't have either of those properties, but still does a fantastic job a brightening the complexion.

It's peachy in colour, so is great for sallow skin, and I always love to layer this up with something either pore minimising, or one which adds even more of a glow, like the one I'm going to mention next.

If you haven't tried NARS base products before, where have you been??? They're some of the best on the market! And a little tip if you're a student...you can pick NARS up on ASOS, so you can get a cheeky little discount with Unidays.

Last but not least, we have the Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow. Now this stuff IS evidently glowing and gives your skin a gorgeous lit from within look.

I don't find this the most glowy primer in the whole world. Sorry to break it to you. BUT I do really love the subtle natural dew this gives off. Under foundation it looks stunning, and like you have a super nourished, gorgeous complexion.

So, there we have it. A little run-down of some priming products I'm loving at the moment. Hopefully there's something for everyone here.

A little honourable mention to Benefit Porefessional if you suffer with larger pores! Soz I didn't photograph this, I completely forgot about this little bottle of wonder, but it's great.

Three Primers You Need For The Upcoming Winter Months.

Winter, for me, equals dry skin...anyone else? As soon as the colder weather hits I all of sudden turn into some kind of snake who starts shedding their skin. Attractive right. But seriously, it's an issue I battle with every single winter, so I always rummage through my skincare stash to see what I can use to help add some moisture to my skin.

The products I'm going to mention aren't particular to any AM, or PM routine, apart from the serums but I'll get onto that! I pretty much whack these out when I feel the need to, and whenever I feel like my skin is in dyer need of some hydration. So, all the time pretty much.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Sleeping Mask: Oohh lorddyyy, this is what parched skin dreams are made of. If you have dry/dehydrated skin you need this in your life. In the UK you can purchase this from Cult Beauty, and if the millennial pink packaging doesn't sell it to you, then what's inside certainly will. It's quite a liquidy formula which sinks in surprisingly well, yet leaves your skin so so soft and nourished. I either use this overnight, or in the morning if I'm having a no-makeup, at home day. It doesn't leave any residue on your pillow which is also a bonus! The scent is amazing as well, super fresh!

Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate: This stuff seems to always creep back into my routine. It seems to cure all my skins woes, so of course I'm including it in todays post. This is something I tend to use exclusively in the evenings as part of my PM routine. I pop this on before my moisturiser and I just love how my skin looks in the mornings. The formula makes my skin feel, and look, so glowy and nourished. I can't get enough. If I'm having an extra dry skin day, and I know my makeup is going to look hella sketchy, then I will put this on in the morning and it keeps my skin hydrated all day long.

Glossier Super Bounce Serum: Out of all the Glossier serums, this one definitely seems to be the most loved. And for good reason. Even though £24 only gets you 15ml of product (boooo!) it's an amazing formula which my skin laps up in the morning. For dehydrated skin this is a must-have, and even if you're not really buying into the Glossier hype, I do think this is worth it.

Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist: This is quickly becoming one of favourite skincare products EVER. It makes my skin feel so plumped, and so hydrated, I can't put it down. Even in the summer, this was a must for me, so it's no surprise I'm still obsessed. I tend to spray this into my hands, then pat it onto my skin. This way, I feel like I'm not wasting any of the product, and by pressing it in it can get to work straight away. Although the spray is very fine and lovely, I just find half of it misses my face and disperses around the room. A good tip if you have the same issue.

So there's a quick little run-down of some of the skincare products I've been loving lately. If your skin is dry, or dehydrated, these all work wonders for me so I highly recommend them! If you have any other skincare bits and bobs you think I'd really love, then please let me know, I'm always on the hunt for new, amazing skincare.

Thank you to Threepipe and L'Occitane for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.

I must admit, getting my body prepped for winter is a task I put off until it's basically too late...Not this year though, I'm determined to get ahead of the dry-skin game and get my body Victoria Secret Fashion Show ready! Ok...clearly I'm not going to be walking in the VS fashion show anytime soon, but ya know, motivation and all.

Okay, first things first, bodycare! L'Occitane have some gorgeous body products on offer, that's no secret, so I'm going to run down a few of my favourites. And, if you're already thinking about that all important Chirstmas shopping - ooo, the C word - then they have some fabulous Christmas Gift sets for mum...that is if you're mum is anything like mine and completely L'Occitane obsessed! I'll link those up here for you to have a peek!

Warning: These aren't actually edible, despite using the phrase "good enough to eat" approximately  46721 times in this post...so let's get into it shall we.

Almond Shower Oil*: This stuff is just dreamy. Both mum and I love and use this all the god damn time, and this must be about the 3rd bottle we've had in our shower arsenal. Safe to say we love it. If you're a fan of sweet smelling body care which makes your skin feel like silk, look no further. The formula is amazing, an oil that turns into a milky consistency once used with water.

Almond Supple Skin Oil: lAnother one I love, and as you can see, there is hardly any of this stuff left. Time for a repurchase me thinks! Along with the shower oil, this will give of the same almondy scent along with the amazing skincare benefits. A soft skin duo made in heaven!! If you've tried the shower oil and love it, pick this up next and you won't be disappointed.

Almond Refining Concentrate*: This one I love to use in the mornings. Again, the almond scent has me hooked. I just can't get enough of it guys! This one contains caffeine, so it's going to help wake up the skin and tone. This isn't an oil, it's definitely a cream formula which feels very luxurious to use.

Delicious Almond Hand Cream: This is that last almond product, I promise!! If you really want to smell like a bakewell tart, then why not add their almond hand cream to the mix! I love L'Occitane hand creams, it's something the brand does super super well. They sink in quickly and the scent is there, but not too overpowering. A handbag staple, for sure.

Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Cream*: Skincare is something I haven't really tried before from L'Occitane, I was all about their body products! When this came into my routine I was excited to give a try. It has a gorgeous fresh florally scent, yes, floral, not almond, which I really love and it feels so soft to use on the skin. It's the perfect moisturiser for those days where you don't want a very thick layer of product sitting on the skin, but you don't want something that will just be eaten away by your parched skin in 0.5 seconds. This sits somewhere in the middle, but still gives your skin a nice dose of moisture and nourishment.

Winter Skin Prep With L'Occitane.

As Autumn finally starts settling in, we're greeted with gloomy mornings, falling leaves, and of course a little makeup switch-a-roo! Autumn remains my favourite season ever, even though waking up when it's pitched black makes it super hard to get out of bed! Although, the cosy sweaters, hot drinks, and berry lips make up for that - kind of...
Due to the darker mornings, getting ready (more specifically, putting on makeup) can be challenging, so I've streamlined my products so I can apply them quickly, and without worrying too much about the application process! Granted, a little touch-up in my car once I get to work doesn't go a miss, but on the whole, I'm loving these bits! So let's get into it shall we...

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit - Surreal Light
Hourglass is a stunning brand, no doubt about that, and the one things I think they do really well are palettes! They can be pricey, but the pans inside, and the overall packaging really lives up to that high expense, plus it's a great way to try a few bits in one! This is a great palette for all your face needs. It contains a powder, bronzer, two blushes, and a highlight. The blushes I love to mix together as they create a lovely natural flush to the face. I love the formula of their powder products, I mean, they're pretty infamous!

Glossier Boy Brow
Okay, so I feel as though now Glossier has reached the UK it's become a very controversial brand. A lot of talk about whether the products are actually worth it, or if they have just paid bloggers and arm and a leg to feature them! In my opinion, they've done the whole digital marketing/pr thing very well, and that definitely shows as they have been such a talked about brand! Any who, onto Boy Brow! This is a really lovely brow gel, I love to use this once I've run a bit of powder through my brows. It helps to keep them in place all day and I never get any crusty bits!

NARS Kalahari Eye Duo
This is my first dip into the world of NARS eyeshadows, and it's a goodun' I have to say! The bronzy taupe shade on the left has the perfect amount of shimmer in it to make the eyes really stand out, but it a wearable way! Then the shade on the right works perfectly in the crease and lower lash line, just to amp it up a bit! These are really blendable and a great little duo for everyday.

Glossier Balm Dot Com
Because lip balm is an essential in the colder months...but seriously, I'm a bit of a lip balm whore, I never like to stick to just one. Seeing as I have three of these little balms, it seems to be the one I reach for most. It's a very simple balm, no fuss, no frills, just a standard jelly type formula. This isn't just to be used exclusively on the lips either, it's one of those multi-purpose thingys, so a great handbag staple!

Illamasqua Minx Lipstick
This is always the first lipstick that I reach for in the fall, the shade is just dreamy! It's a gorgeous rich, berry pink shade which has the perfect amount of depth to it. Great for autumn, without being to vampy. You catch ma drift? It's a matte formula as well, so will last a good few hours without any touch ups. If you haven't checked out Illamasqua lipsticks, do, I think they're fab.

Lately I have been beyond obsessed with skincare, and trying new brands and products always excites me. I've always adored creating my skincare routines with products my skin loves, but have been put off at the same time to try anything new, just incase my skin doesn't agree. Blogging about beauty does mean that I feel somewhat obliged to branch out and let you guys know if certain products are worth the hype, or high price tag, or in this case, both!

I'm sure you're all familiar with the Sunday Riley Luna Oil by now, whether you have tried it or not. Everyone and their mother seems to be head over heels for this oil, so of course, I had to give it a go myself. I find it hard to stray from my Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Oil, as many of you may know, but I do make the odd exception if something sounds amazing. At £85, I almost cried handing my card over, but I know that oils last for ages and give incredible results so I can kind of justify it (not really, it's still hella pricey!).

Oils are traditionally used as a final step in your skincare routine and can be massaged in right before bed to get to work overnight. It is a very interesting shade of blue, very cool but scary at the same time! Don't worry it doesn't turn your skin blue, but it does initially apply some of that pigment but it won't stick around once you press it in.

This is definitely more of a treatment oil, so it will provide your skin which much more that just hydration. I do find that investing in some sort of oil is key when compiling your evening (or morning) skincare routine, as you can get benefits you simply can't with a basic cleanser or moisturiser.

This oil is all about Retinol, pretty much the only skincare ingredient which is proven to help out with fine lines and wrinkles. I'm 21, so not quite there yet with the anti-agening products, but the other benefits of this means it's not going to waste and I can still get results. Some of the other claims are to rejuvenate tired skin, refine the appearance of pores and help the skins overall elasticity...sign me up!

I've been using this for about a month, and I think the biggest difference I have seen has been my pores. I'm not sure why, but over the past 6 months, my pores have been a real issue for me. They always seem to be clogged, no matter how many times I cleanse and use clay masks. Since using this, my nose and chin has been so much clearer and I get so many less blackheads - thank the lord.

I'll get back to you in a 10 years and let you know how the ageing prevention properties are going, but so far the main differences has been the texture and overall complexion of my skins surface. I'm impressed, I must say. Will I repurchase though...hmmm...depends how long it lasts I think!

Have you tried any Sunday Riley products, or they Luna Oil? I'd love to know your thoughts, and any of her other products you love!

Whenever I would wander the isles of Boots looking for nail polish, Essie was my go-to - anyone else? Even though it didn't last super super well on me, I'd say a few days, the colour selection was on-point and they applied beautifully. However, making the rounds on various online blogs and Instagrams were the new Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish, so I bought a few, and here's what I thought...

The Shade Selection
It's not the biggest shade range ever, compared to brands such as Essie and OPI it does seem limited, but the shades they do have are very lovely. They have around 40-50 shades, which okay does sound like a lot, but if your Boots is anything like mine it won't have the entire selection. They have everything from nudes, reds, pinks, and few other fun colours in there too. I'm a neutral girl through and through so I picked up the shades Plush Blush, Birthday Suit, Mauve-olous, and red shade called Redgy to mix things up - oo how wild.

Pink Blush
This is the most sheer out of the four I have, but I always find with pale pink shades like this they tend to need 3 coats. I really like pale shades like this for everyday wear as they just make your nails look very groomed and classy. This one has a slight pearlescent sheen to it, so it's not flat looking on the nails, something I do like with pale shades.

Birthday Suit
This is your classic nude, not much to say. I do find nude nail polishes like nude lipsticks, you have to play around and see which tones and finishes suit you. I find I prefer to use creamy beige shades with a bit of shimmer to them, and that's exactly what Birthday Suit is. It's a very subtle shade, as you can imagine, but I love that look.

Mauve-olous
This is a really nice bold-nude shade, if that makes sense? It's not a super bright, in your face shade, but it is more detectable on the nails than the previous two I've mentioned. This is probably going to be my go-to over the Autumn as I love the deep rosy mauve shade, it's a gorgeous colour.

Redgy
I had to pick up a red, purely because I think three nudes is enough - until I go back next week and pick up three more...I loved wearing this one over the summer, it's a lovely coral red shade. I tend to wear this on my toes as I love how bright it is, and I always opt for a brighter polish on my toes! If you love red nails I think this would be right up your street!

The Formula
I have completely fallen for the formula of these, I think they're beautiful. As the name would suggest, they are meant to mimic a gel manicure for half the price and half the effort. Do I think they give you salon finish results, no, but do I think they give the best finish and last longer than any other drugstore polish I have tried, yes yes yes! Out of the four, Mauve-olous lasts the best on me for some reason, I can get a good 7 days with this and it does still manage to look presentable for that time. It's a pretty groundbreaking formula for the price I must say. These retail for £9.99 so not too shabby. Apart from Pink Blush, you can easily get away with 2 coats of these polishes and they go on very smoothly and the brush makes it super easy to coat the entire nail. Something to note, I don't have the Gel Top Coat, which is part of the line, I simply use whichever one I have at home and that does the trick.

Please let me know if you have ever tried these and the shades you love! I'm also very intrigued by the top coat and if that does make a difference or not, so if you have that and use the two together, do let me know your thoughts! Also, please let me know your favourite nail polish brand, or range, down below as I'm currently can't stop buying them!!

The Best Drugstore Nail Polishes I've Ever Tried.

The excitement is real people...I am the official owner of Glossier products! I know how hyped this brand is, and since it's launching in the UK next month I wanted to add my own review to the sea of existing blog posts. I was lucky enough to attend a dinner with Glossier to celebrate their UK launch and they were so kind to give me some products to try. Yes, I did get them for free, but that isn't swaying my opinion at all, and the brand hasn't paid me to make this blog post, I've simply done is as I'm so excited to be trying out their products and want to share my thoughts with you all. OK, enough rambling, let's get in to the first impressions!

I'm going to start with skincare, and they have some lovely bits on offer from cleansers, to masks, and everything in between - except an eye cream! I was really excited to receive a few skincare items to try out as the packaging is gorgeous, super photogenic, and I've heard great things. They do cater to many skin types and I feel like their skincare branding and formulations are very gentle on the skin and fit well together as a routine.

Milky Jelly Cleanser:
This was one I was very happy to try. Cleansers are my weakness, I own way too many, but it is an important step so it's justified right? This is a very fuss-free, simple cleanser which works great for all skin types. It doesn't lather up on the skin, it remains a lovely hydrating light-weight formula to help remove dirt and impurities. I use this morning and evening and I love how it leaves my skin feeling. If you're after a new cleanser to try, definitely consider this. I have yet to use it for makeup removal, but will report back on that! The scent is beautiful too, it's got some lavender in there so very calming and spa-like.

Super Bounce Serum:
If you suffer with dry, dehydrated skin, this is an absolute must-have. It's a very thick serum, but sinks in beautifully. This, paired with the moisturiser I'm going to be talking about in a moment, is a match made in heaven. I've been using this in the morning to give my skin a bit of a moisture boost before going in with makeup. I find it leaves my skin looking and feeling amazing all day. It's quite a small bottle though, so I think I'm going to get through it quite quickly which is a shame.

Priming Moisturiser Riche:
So many people said that the original priming moisturiser was too drying on their skin, so I'm really happy I got to try out the riche formula. I can confirm this isn't drying in the slightest. It's a thicker cream, so you don't need a lot, and the smell is similar to the cleanser, very calming. This makes my skin feel like velvet, it's incredible. If I'm having a no makeup day, this on top of the serum makes my skin feel beautifully soft and hydrated all throughout the day. The pot feels very heavy and luxurious which is another plus point. As far as the priming aspect goes, it does make my makeup sit beautifully, but I haven't noticed a difference in longevity.

Now, we're going to move onto makeup. There's still a few bits I want to try, but so far I'm really impressed with the products I have. Glossier is all about natural makeup and glowing skin, and their products are certainly tailored to create that look. I personally really love that as I don't wear a full face of makeup every single day. If you're more of an intense highlight, bold brow type of person, their makeup selection may not appeal to you as it's far from that.

Boy Brow in Clear:
I always use a brow gel, so I was very excited to try this out. It's a very conditioning formula, initially I was slightly put off by the thick white formula, but it doesn't translate on the brows at all. It's not sticky, nor does it leave my brows feel very crispy. I would love to try the tinted versions as I LOVE a good tinted brow gel, so let me know your thoughts if you've tried those. The wand is lovely and small, so it's really easy to coat every brow hair.

Haloscopes:
I'm slightly on the fence about these. There's one I love, but the other two shades I can't really get on with. The shade Moonstone was a little bit disappointing, it's simply a clear gel, nothing special at all I didn't think. These have an odd formula too, their quite gel-like so they do sit on the skin and can feel sticky if you apply too much, I don't find them uncomfortable to wear though. Moonstone does have a slight iridescence to it, but it's definitely very subtle and I do prefer the other, more champagne shade, Quartz. Quartz has more colour pay off and it's more noticeable on the skin. It's still subtle, but the shine it gives off is really beautiful and dewy, it's definitly the one I would recommend for light-medium skin tones. Topaz is the last of the three and would work great on deeper skin tones. For me, I couldn't really work with this, it's too shimmery to use as a bronzer, and too dark to use as a highlight. I did mix it in with my Clinique Chubby Contour Stick to give more of a glowy bronze finish to the skin, and it did work well for that I have to say. Is it something I'm going to reaching for a lot though, probably not.

Cloud Paints:
I love these cream blushes so much! A little goes a long long way, which is good as they are quite small, but they really pack a punch. I have two shades, Dusk and Beam. The former is a lovely natural nudey pink, it's on the deeper side so I think would work well on a lot of skin tones. I use a really light hand with this shade but I love the natural flushed finish it gives. Beam is a coral shade, my personal favourite. There's no shimmer in these blushes so definitely add a highlighter if you're after a glowing cheek. The shades do come out darker than the colour of the packaging so keep that in mind when ordering online. For everyday wear I love working with cream blushes, and these are no exception. I tend to apply them from the back of my hand with a small duo fibre brush, and blend out with a beauty blender. They blend seamlessly this way and I find and you have more control over the product.

So, there we have it. My thoughts on Glossier. Safe to say I'm in love with a lot of the products I've tried and I cannot wait to get my hands on a few more goodies once they launch. I'm thinking the Generation G lipsticks and maybe one or two masks? Let me know what you've tried from Glossier and the products you love, and if you will be jumping on the bandwagon once they hit the UK!

Autumn is here, and I don't know about you, but I'm really looking forward to hot drinks, big jumpers, and cosy evenings. I love to add some more luxury items into my routine, as I tend to spend a bit more time pampering myself than in the summer. I have a range of things to talk about in this post, some makeup, bodycare, skincare, and perfume; all to make functioning on these cold days a bit easier.
Thank you to threepipe for sponsoring this post.

No Autumn routine post would be complete without mentioning a few scents. I struggle to find summer scents I really love, I'm definitely more of a sweet, musky scent girl, which are fit for the upcoming seasons. I always switch up my candles, and perfumes in September, in the hopes to create a more relaxed, cosy environment.

Clive Christian Woody Leather and Green Floral Fragrances*:
I'm so fussy with perfumes, I have a select few in my collection which I reach for over and over again, it's hard for me to fall in love with a new one. These however, are both gorgeous! Clive Christian is a luxury British perfume brand, and the scents really are stunning. The full-size bottles can range up to £500...say what?! Yes, that's right, £500. If that doesn't qualify for a luxurious post, then I don't know what does. Woody Leather is my favourite from the two, it's more masculine with notes of saffron and tobacco, as well as mandarin to give it more of a fresh feel. This is meant to be worn alongside Green Floral, which has notes of apple, pear, and camomile. More on the fresh and fruity side, but really sophisticated at the same time. I've had so many compliments on these two scents, and these little spray bottles are the perfect size to keep in your bag. I'll link the website here for you all, even just to online window shop, as the bottles alone are beautifully designed!

Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Candle:
I have a few of these candles now, and I fall in love with them more and more every time I burn them. This one is my favourite for Autumn/Winter as it creates the most amazing aroma! It has notes of pomegranate, raspberry, plum and lily which creates such a warm musky scent. I can sometimes find that a lot of wintery scents are infused with too many spices, and I personally don't like that, but this one is gorgeous and the adds the right amount of warmth, and luxury, to a room.

By body and skincare cannot go a miss in the colder months. I have such dry skin anyway, when winter rolls around it's about 10,000 times more noticeable. I try my best to moisturise in the evenings and use nourishing skincare products to ensure it's kept under control.

L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil:
I know how tempting it is to hop out the shower and get straight into some comfy clothes, skipping the body moisturiser. Using this product in the shower will ensure your skin feels nourished and soft, even if that is the case! For starters, the smell is divine!! I have never smelt a body product like it. It's a gorgeous sweet almond smell which leaves your limbs with an oh so lovely scent. The formula is what makes this though, it's an oil-cream formulation which is perfect for those of you who suffer with dry skin. It also works great when shaving as it doesn't irritate the skin.

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask:
This definitely caused some intrigue in the beauty community. A dry sheet mask? Really? But it does actually work believe it or not. I'm not sure what crazy witchcraft Charlotte used here, but it leaves a lovely serum behind once you remove it which then further sinks in creating a supple appearance. I love to use masks, they are the perfect pamper staple and you can never go wrong with putting aside 10/15 minutes to enjoy some me time.

I'm dreading the light disappearing in the mornings and evenings. If I'm going to be getting ready in the dark, I may as well feel good about it by using some lovely luxurious products! Day-to-day I like simple makeup that I can throw on in a hurry and not worry too much about it. For me, these are the products I've been lovely lately.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light:
These powders are wonderful at creating a healthy glow to the skin, whilst setting your makeup and controlling oils. They aren't powdering at all, they're so finely milled it's hard to go overboard with these. They are pricey, but so worth it in my opinion. There's just something about using a nice, luxurious compact when touching up. They have loads of different ones to chose from, all of which help to blur the skin, as well as to set.

By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Bronze Moon:
This is my go-to eyeshadow - along with the next one I'm going to mention - as it's the perfect bronze. This adds the most beautiful amount of definition to the eyes, and it looks great blended all over the lid for that effortless smokey look. I feel like bronze shadows are so universally flattering, it's a fail-safe! The stick formula also make it really easy to apply, even if you're not great with eyeshadow. I tend to blend it out with a fluffy brush, but you can use your fingers too in a pinch.

Chanel Ombre Longwear Cream Eye Shadow in Undertone:
This is more subtle than the By Terry stick, but just as beautiful. The shade name really does sum it up well, it's a great base colour, more of a my eye's but better, if that's a thing? It has a nice amount of shine to it, so it's not a flat matte eyeshadow base which is why I love to wear it on it's own. It's really easy to apply with your fingers, and you can't really get more luxe than Chanel!

Hourglass Lip Stylo in Creator:
I love a pinky nude lip, I mean who doesn't? This Hourglass lip stylo is the perfect grab and go lip colour which brightens up the skin and adds a nice amount of colour. My lips do tend to be more dry in the colder months, so I love more creamy formulas with a nice sheen. This is exactly that. It's so comfortable to wear and looks so great with any look. The packaging is also really nice and luxurious, I love the pen applicator, it's so user friendly.

Any products marked with a '*' were sent to me, all opinions are my own and I am not obliged to feature any product I did not like and wouldn't recommend. Please read my Disclaimer page for more.

A few years ago I probably wouldn't be spotted wearing jewellery. It was something I never spent my money on and never really wanted for birthdays or Christmas, so I would never put myself down as an avid jewellery wearer - until now! I think I've found my jewellery calling; very simple, minimal and nothing too statement. I don't even have my ears pierced anymore...that is how minimal I am...I've slowly built up an everyday jewellery edit, a few good quality pieces which help to make me feel more put together. I can now totally see why people invest in beautiful designs!

Olivia Burton Wonderland Watch: A classis timepiece is a staple for me. I have a few watches in my collection and this is the one I am currently wearing non-stop! I love the classic, chic vibe this gives off, it won't be going out of trend anytime soon and I love the mixed metals! It's silver and rose gold, so it makes mixing my other jewellery very easy, I personally don't have an issue with mixing metals. It's the perfect, everyday size, nothing to big and bold, so I absolutely love it.

Monica Vinader Rose Gold Havana Friendship Bracelet: For ages I've wanted a cute bracelet to wear alongside my watch. I find the ones with a clasp too much of a faff and I know I would never reach for it in the moorings when I'm getting ready. This is super easy to wear, I love the rose gold plate and the nude/minx thread is so pretty and goes with everything! You can also get these engraved which makes it a really special gift for someone. They have a tonne of shades, so something for everyone!

Happiness Boutique Tiny Circles Pendent Necklace*: I am so obsessed with these kinds of pendent necklaces. This is a lovely rose gold, and it compliments my skin tone really well and looks great with many different necklines. It's still quite a simple design, but very modern at the same and adds a nice bit of interest to any look. I do have a discount code for this site - 'bymillie' - so if you did like this, or anything else on their site, you can save 10% on all orders over €19 until October 18th. Their pieces are really well made and affordable, so if you're on the hunt for some new jewellery definitely check their site out.

Monica Vinader Siren Stacking Rings: I'm loving all things Monica Vinader at the moment, they have such a unique take on classic pieces. I started off with the small siren ring in the Rose Quartz stone. Very neutral and gorgeous, such a lovely staple for me. I then added the larger size in the Moonstone to it and I love the combo of the two. I'm thinking of picking up a couple of brighter stones so I can mix and match. These are such great quality and just love the way they look together and the way you can stack them. I also really love how they aren't a perfect circle, they have a very raw and handmade vibe.

By Lia Jewels Rings: I have quite a lot of rings from this Etsy shop and I honestly think it's one of my favourite affordable places to buy from. I'll have their shop linked so you can see their whole collection, but I'm in love with their minimal, pretty designs. They are really easy to stack and pair with other rings you may already own. They have some other gorgeous jewellery bits, but their rings are something I'm always lusting over and wearing daily.

Everyday Jewellery Edit.

So, earlier this summer I picked up a new bag...it's a beauty...and the first higher-end designer purchase I have ever made. I didn't just want to pick one up willy nilly; I had handed in my university dissertation, bagged myself a great internship over the summer, so I wanted something to celebrate feeling like I had my shit together. I wanted to give it a real good test before featuring it on my blog, to make sure I'm still obsessed with it, and if it's worth the money. I didn't want to just do a bag review either as that isn't really what my blog is about, so I thought I'd share what goodies I keep with me day-to-day.

A little disclaimer before we start...I know that designer bags are not to everyones taste or budget, I'm not showing off, or saying you need to buy this, I just wanted to share my thoughts.

The bag in question: I picked up the Chloe Marcie in the small size, tan leather. I had a major gap in my bag wardrobe, only having a small black bag and a bigger one which I use for travelling, I didn't have anything which complimented lighter shades for summer. I am not a big bag person, so this size is perfect for me to house all my daily essentials. It has two pockets inside to keep smaller items and one larger compartment. The closure is very secure and I love the design, it's the perfect little tan bag. I picked it up from Harrods in the UK, and the customer service wasn't amazing I must say, they were pretty blunt and hasty with me in all honesty. When I picked up my Balenciaga wallet form Harvey Nichols, the customer service was really really great, so that was a fairly disappointing buying experience. Any-who, onto what I keep inside..

A card wallet: I never have cash with me, and if I do it goes towards car parking, or a coffee, pretty imminently, so a card wallet is all I really need. If you're one to hoard loads of receipts and unnecessary loyalty cards to places you went to once 5 years ago, these are great to force you to downsize. I have this dark grey Balenciaga Card Holder which has a few single card slots and two bigger sections which I use for my ID, student cards and membership cards for various different things. I'm not 100% sure how easy this is get hold of now as I believe it was a limited edition design, but there should still be some knocking around online.

Another card holder: I do also keep a separate card holder for all my travel bits, so, Oyster card, travel card, and about 50,000 train tickets. This just means that when I'm on the train I have everything I need in one place and I don't need to keep dipping in and out of my bag to find various tickets etc. I love this Whistles one, it's fairly inexpensive and I love the colour and croc texture.

My phone: I can't go anywhere without my phone, just like everybody else on this planet. I have this lovely case from The Rifle Paper Company which looks so pretty on the rose gold iPhone. They have the most gorgeous designs so make sure you check out their site if you're after a new phone case!

Sunglasses: My eyes are very sensitive to light, especially when I'm driving, so sunglasses are a must for me. I have the classic Ray Ban Wayfarers in the tortoiseshell colour-way and I adore them. I've had them for years, they're so reliable and go with everything. In the autumn, these sunnies with a big scarf and leather jacket look super cool, just sayin'...

A lip balm: I alwayyysss keep lip balm with me, especially as the weather has really cooled down here in the UK and my lips are always dry when autumn rolls around. The one which is currently in my handbag is from Lanolips, and it's a very simple jelly-type balm. I love the cute packaging, and it's a great balm to have on hand.

A lipstick: I tend to have a couple of lip products floating around in the bottom of my bag, normally they're ones I've been looking for for weeks, does that happen to anyone else? At the moment I have one - round-of-applause please - which is the Nars Velvet Lip Glide in Playpen, a gorgeous pink everyday shade. It adds a nice colour to the lips without being too bold or high maintenance so I love throwing this in.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I keep in my bag. I definitely don't carry the kitchen sink with me, so a little bag like this is all I need. If you're on the hunt for a simple, everyday cross body which goes with everything this is a great one. The leather is super soft and the crossbody design means you have you're hands free at all time, bonus! I wear this with black as well, I find tan a really versatile shade, and the black dye doesn't rub off on the bag of the bag!! If you do have any further questions about it, please comment below!

What's In My Bag? Ft.The Chloe Marcie.

I can't believe summer is basically over! Booo! It's been raining non-stop here in the UK so I feel like we can officially wave goodbye to the sun. I do love Autumnal makeup, but as August has only just finished I don't want to break out all my matte shadows and vampy lips just yet, so I've been reaching for a few products to bridge that gap.

Davines Volu Shampoo: Now, I've never been one to spend a lot on haircare, but lately I have wanted to invest a little bit more into my locks. This is a great shampoo to maintain voluminous roots, something I definitely struggle with. If you have very dry roots, I wouldn't suggest this as it does have that sea salt vibe to it which may dry your hair out. I have oily roots, so that really doesn't bother me at all. The smell is super fresh and overall I've been really happy with this. It definitely gives you that beachy, lived in vibe.

Charlotte Tilbury Overnight Bronze and Glow Mask: This is the first skincare product I've tried from Charlotte Tilbury and I really adore it. It is fairly fragranced, so I was worried it was going to break me out, but so far so good! You pop this on before bed, and wake up with lovely glowing skin. The bronzing element is very subtle in my opinion, it's definitely a gradual process, but it does make your skin look very healthy. I've been using this every 2-3 days to maintain that lovely glow we all crave. If you did pick up a tan over the summer, this would be a lovely product to help keep that going throughout Autumn.

Clinique Chubby Stick Contour: I really do love this, it's not as cool toned as I think some people may like, but it works well for me. I use this underneath my base to create a natural, bronzed contour  to the skin. It's so easy to apply, and blends really well with a beauty blender. If you're after that effortless, bronzed look to the skin, this is a great product to have in your collection. It does also work well on top of foundation, but I find it's so much more natural underneath.

Nars God Created the Women Eye Palette*: This is such a great transitional palette, the shades in here are gorgeous. Unfortunately it is no longer available, however Nars are always coming out with similar eye palettes, so be sure to head to your nearest counter and see what they have. This palette has amazing lighter shades, perfect for all over the lid, and some gorgeous deep browns which are great in the Autumn time to create a more vamped up look. The shades blend beautifully and the pigment is awesome. There's a nice mix of mattes and shimmer shades, so loads of options to create some beautiful eye looks.

MAC Twig: Twig is a shade I purchased this time last year, and one I'm so excited to start wearing again. It's a lovely brown-toned, pink shade, but it's on the darker side which is why I save it for Autumn. I would say it's still a nude - kind of - but more on the bolder side of nudes, if you know what I mean! The formula is amazing, it's a satin finish so it's very comfortable to wear. I love MAC lipsticks and there's always at least one I'm reaching for at any given time.
