Heading to the NYC was super exciting this summer, the weather was good, the food was even better and our hotel was right opposite a Sephora…defiantly didn’t plan that…I went in a number of times, and I really wanted to pick up things I couldn't get hold of in the UK. It was also my birthday month and I got a 100 gift perk swiftly after setting up my Sephora beauty card, so I sneaked a few freebees in here too. PS: The isle of doom is real people!

Boscia Cleansing Oil: I have heard so many people rave about this cleansing oil so I had to pick it up and test it out for myself. Cleansing balms and oils are my favourite way to remove makeup, I rarely use micellar waters. This one is very cooling and is a bit thicker in consistency than I was expecting, but it's really good at removing makeup and doesn't leave a residue on the skin, it's very easy to rinse off. I would highly recommend this.

Fresh Soy Cleanser: This I received as a birthday gift and was super happy with it. I love the size, it's perfect for travelling and the smell is lovely too, as are all Fresh Products. I haven't given this a good go yet as I'm saving it for travelling, but I'm excited for this as Fresh skincare is really lovely and high quality.

Fresh Rose Face Mask: With the cleanser, I received this little Rose Face mask which again smells divine. I tried this out for the first time the other day and it really tightened and plumped the skin. The product itself is brown in colour - interesting choice -  and very gel like, it's infused with rose petals and smart algae which also help moisturise the skin. When this runs out I will definitely look at getting the full size.

Brazilian Bum Bum Cream: This product has been everywhere recently and I was desperate to try it when I headed into Sephora. The smell alone is incredible, it smells exactly like pina colada, and if it doesn't work as a toning cream, which is what it's meant for, I will happily use this in replacement of my standard body creams and lotions. As the name suggests it's meant to tone and firm your bum which I find both fascinating and intriguing, lets see if it works...I'll keep ya posted!

Tarte In Bloom Eye Palette: This was on the top of my wish list, as soon as I saw it online I knew I had to have it, the shades all looked so stunning and right up my street. It contains 12 shades, both shimmer and matte, exactly what I love in a palette, all of them ranging in various natural tones. It also smells of chocolate which is a lovely smell to do your makeup to! My favourite shades are Rocker, Firecracker and Leader, but there's not one shade in this palette I wont use, they're also super buttery and easy to blend.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper: Again, this is something that has been super hyped and I just had to try. I had ran out of my Stila liquid liner not long before going away, so it was the perfect opportunity to pick this up and give it a go. It's so black and stays put all day, the nib is a bit stiffer than I'm used to, but it's still easy to create a nice winged liner. I'm really happy I picked this up, but I'm not sure it's worth the hype as there are others which are cheaper and easier to get hold of but work just as well!

Dior Lash Maximising Primer: This stuff is seriously amazing! The first time I used it I didn't see a huge difference, so the next time I tried applying a bit more and really coating my lashes with it, and wow, did they look amazing! Even without putting another mascara on top you can really see how much longer your lashes look. If you want a dramatic lash look, but don't want to faff around with applying falsies, you have to have this in your beauty arsenal, it's incredible. I only picked up a sample size as I wanted to try it out before committing to the full tube, but I would definitely recommend this!

Bit Beauty Matte Lip Crayon in Pastille: I tried Bite Beauty for the first time a few years ago and I was so impressed with how creamy one of their matte lip products were. You can't get hold of them in the UK so I was dying to pick up another one to see how to compared. I wanted a nice everyday warm shade and this is exactly that. It's a pinky mauve shade, which are my favourites, it's a very universally flattering shade which is comfortable on the lips. It's a matte shade, but it's super creamy and lasts well, if your lips are slightly dryer I would always suggest going in with a balm first, but you'll love this!

Drybar Triple Sec: I've been on the hunt for a good texturing spray, and Drybar is a brand I've heard great things about. Now, this does say that it also acts a dry shampoo, however whenever I put this near my roots, my hair felt horrible and clogged. As a texturising spray through the lengths and ends though, it worked a treat, it's just a shame it doesn't deliver as a dry shampoo, so maybe it's a 2-in-1?
