In the Spring and Summer months I'm all about that glowing, Victoria Secret model skin. I think it's a super pretty, natural fresh look to sport in the warmer months, and it makes the skin look healthy and plump too. Over the past year or so, I've accumulated a fair few products which I always grab if I'm after dewy skin. My skin is dry and can be dehydrated so I definitely need a helping hand.

Who knew that dewy skin could start with a cleanser? Me neither. I know vitamin C products can help the skin appear juicier but never looked further afield. I picked up the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel after countless raving reviews and I love it. It's a gel to cream formula which really does brighten and hydrate the skin. I'm on my third bottle of this stuff and I will forever repurchase. Even if you don't apply any makeup on after this, your skin will still be 10 times more glowy.

Moving onto priming the skin, and this is really where the majority of my glow comes from. I love to buy primers and base products which have a slight sheen running throughout to really help get that lit from within look. The Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow is a brilliant primer for creating a healthy glowing base. It's a beautiful golden shimmer and I love this underneath or mixed in with foundations. If you want one which is a bit more bronzy, the This Works Perfect Look Skin Miracle is great as the bronze reflects help to add colour to the skin, making it more youthful. This one isn't as dewy, but it's still lovely.

Light-meduim coverage foundation are the way to go (I think) for getting dewy skin. They tend to have more of a dewy finish and they let your own skin show through so it doesn't look like a mask. A couple of my favourites are the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua which smells of summer, and the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation. Both of these are buildable and look very natural on the skin. They also both look great with a glowing primer underneath. To fix the base in place I will go in with a setting spray, such as the L'Oreal Infallible Mist, to help blend the products into the skin and add an ounce more freshness.

Of course I had to mention a couple of highlighters which really pack a punch. I'm obsessed with highlighting my skin, it leaves it looking so healthy and fresh and I love the way they catch the light. For a powder highlight I have the MAC Soft and Gentle MSF, this is such a classic and the first highlight I ever purchased. It's a champagne shimmer, which is the tone I like to go for, and it looks shunning on top of the cheek bones and down the bridge of the nose. I'm also a massive fan of cream highlighters, especially the Benefit Watts Up which is a similar colour to soft and gentle, but with a bit more gold. This looks beautiful with a slight tan, and the creamy formula is very easy to blend.
