I've been really interested in finding out which brands are cruelty free and don't test on animals. I know there are so many people who feel really passionately about animal testing and using products that are cruelty free, and after doing some research there are a loads of brands that fall under that category! Here are a few which I think you should check out...

Charlotte Tilbury: If you're a frequent reader you'll probably know my love for CT, everything from her brand is so lovely, and the fact they don't test on animals is such a plus as their products are fab and totally worth checking out. A couple of my favourites would be the Eyeshadow Quads which are always so blendable and creamy, as well as pigmented and the shades always look so flattering on stunning on the eye. And her lipsticks are also worth taking a snoop at, all the formulas are lovely. If you're looking for something brighter for spring, Miranda May is the lipstick I would recommend. It's a gorgeous pinky coral!

Kat Von D: Kat is famous for her liquid liner and liquid lipsticks, and after trying them both I have to say they are pretty amazing! If you're in the UK you can buy Kat Von D from Debenhams, and I would definitely recommend her products. The Tattoo Liner is one of the easiest I've used, it's super black, and doesn't fade. The nib is really fine which makes creating a sleek, feline flick very simple. I also love the formula of her liquid lipsticks, they're very velvety and comfortable to wear.

NARS: I've really been getting into NARS this year, and there's still loads I want to try. For such an iconic brand which has been around for a long time, it's great to see they're cruelty free! I adore their cheek products, Laguna bronzer is such a classic and it's the bronzer I always fall back on and will repurchase time and time again. Their eyeshadows are also lovely formulas. I've recently been obsessed with the Kalahari eye duo, the two shades couldn't be more perfect for everyday, the shimmery taupe is great on the lids, and the matte brown is nice for adding extra definition.

Tarte: I love Tarte as a brand, their packaging is so pretty, and they come out with some great products suitable for everyone. One of my favourite releases has to be the Tarte In Bloom palette which I used constantly at the end of 2016. It's a neutral palette (of course) and has a lovely selection of matte and shimmer shades. Their blushes are also very well known and loved, the formula is long-lasting, pigmented and I love the shades, Dollface is my fave!

LUSH: LUSH are very well known for being a cruelty free brand and one of the more obvious ones when it comes to being passionate about animal welfare. I absolutely love LUSH, they do some amazing bath and body products which are natural, smell amazing, and are kind to the skin. The Comforter Bubble Bar will always be my favourite from the brand, the scent is very sweet and it provides lovely bubbles and turns your bath pink! What's not to love?

Pixi: I really wanted to include skincare in here too and after finding out Pixi are a cruelty free brand I had to give them a mention. Pixi is a very mid-range brand price wise, it's not going to leave you out of pocket, but it's not a brand you can pick up for a few quid in Boots. I really love their Milky Hydrating Mist, as well as their H20 Skin Drink, both are amazing for dry/dehydrated skin. It's become a brand I'm always looking at for new skincare.
