I get so excited for spring, especially when it comes to updating my makeup bag. Tis the season for dewy skin and bold lips, am I right?! It's currently about 26 degrees in England, which is warm for us Brits lemme tell you. As I'm slowing switching up my wardrobe for spring, my makeup naturally follows, so here's some bits I've been throwing on my face.

I've started to skip primer lately- crazy I know - but I've got another and slightly easier way to inject a bit of glow. I've been mixing together the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter, with the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation. These look gorgeous on their own, but mixed together they give a perfect, airbrushed and super dewy look. The CT Filter is a stunning base product which sits somewhere between a tinted moisturiser and a very glowy primer. It has a doe foot applicator which makes it really easy to apply to the skin. Once I've dotted that around my face, I'll blend it out with the Bobbi foundation. They mix beautifully together and I love the finish this gives to the skin.

For concealer, I've been using a bit of the Bourjois Radiance Concealer. I have this in a fairly light shade, so it works wonders under the eyes! It doesn't crease, and blends beautifully.

I'm not always one to use powder, buuut, when I do I will reach for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders. These are great for keeping your skin glowy, but setting your foundation in place. A light dusting of this and I know my base will look flawless all day long.

I always love a creamy cheek product. From bronzer to highlight, pretty much everything I reach for on the daily is a cream formulation. I start by taking the Clinique Chubby Contour Stick around the face. I pop this in the usual places - under the cheekbones, jaw line and around the forehead. I love the shade of this, it's not too orange, nor too grey, and it blends out really well. I also love this underneath foundation for that ultimate bronzed finish.

Colour wise, I love the Glossier Cloud Paints, I mean who doesn't? Beam and Puff have been my go-tos. The former is a lovely coral, and the Puff is a beautiful light pink. They apply really well and again, blend like a dream. A little goes a long way, so apply with caution!

For my highlight I have been obsessed (!!!) with the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand. If you like her powder highlight, I think you'll love this too. It has her signature golden/champagne glow but in a liquid formulation. The only thing I don't like about this is the packaging. It has a twist top where you squeeze the product out of - I find it gets really messy!! That aside, I will still continue to reach for this all the time.

I really take a step back when it comes to eyes. I find I prefer to focus my energy on my base, as well as opting for a bolder lip shade. With that in mind, the Tarte In Bloom Eye Palette is the perfect palette for a natural, low maintenance look. I mainly dip into the top row which has a lovely highlight shade, a shimmery bronze for the lid, and a deep chocolate brown to use as a liner. You can pretty much slap these shades on and go. They are easy to blend and all the shades compliment each other, so no need to dip in and out of other palettes!

I have two lip products I have already been wearing loads, and I will continue to shove in my bag so I'm never without them.

Hourglass Lip Stylos are beautiful, super easy to apply, and the colour range is gorgeous. I have the shade Creator which is a lovely rosy pink shade (bottom swatch). These don't last ages, but they add a nice natural sheen to the lips which I love in the spring.

I also have the Fresh Sugar Balm in Berry. This isn't too dissimilar to the Hourglass Stylo, but it has more a purple hue. These smell amazing, and are super hydrating on the lips. (top swatch) I love how easy they are to build - you can either go with a light flush of colour, or build it up to a more intense finish.
