Yay, summer is almost here!

The weather has really been warming up in the UK - dear sun, please stay - and it's making me really excited to pick up some more summery bits. I didn't want to include just clothes, or just beauty, so there's a mixture of things here to get you all inspired for summer. I, for one, can't wait. I've been seeing so many fun prints, cute playsuits, and amazing plants spamming my Instagram and Pinterest, so I can't wait to share with you some of the items I've got my eye on.

I feel like this is such a fun print for summer. I've been seeing loads of gorgeous home decor pieces, as well as clothing, that all embrace this trend. I'm especially loving this super cute bikini from ASOS...I mean...lovely! I've also been after a palm print cushion, such a great way to incorporate the print! I'm loving this one from Urban Outfitters

I can't stress how important SPF is, especially in the summer! I used a Kiehl's one last year which I really loved, but I want to try out something different. I would 100% be opting for the new Glossier SPF, buuut, I can't get it in the UK, so sadly that's a no. I've heard really great things about this Pixi Sun Mist, which has SPF 30, and I know the Benefit one was also a popular option when it was realised a couple of years back. I'll keep you updated one which one I go for.

I'm a swimmer, so the only swimsuits I own are the totally practical ones from Speedo which do nothing to flatter the figure. This summer I am determined to find a nice swimsuit which is flattering and kinda sexy...nothing too crazy, but I want to feel good and there's nothing wrong with that. I'm loving the 'plunge' styles like this Seafolly one! Also, this amazing swimsuit from Hobie is just to die for!!

I recently treated myself to my first ever designer handbag, it's from Chloe and I'm utterly obsessed. I'm thinking of doing a post on it, but not sure, would you like to see that? I played it safe and went for a neutral, but I'm still craving a brighter bag for summer. I think they look gorge with an all white ensemble. These ones from Topshop and Kate Spade are both beautiful!

In the summer I love nothing more than throwing on a playsuit and some sandals and looking put together, when really it took me about 30 seconds to get ready. I think they are the easiest things to trow on during the day, and in the evening. For the daytime I love this Free People one, the off the shoulder detail and the florals print makes it a great one for summer. For the evenings, I think this True Decadence option is very Self Portrait, and it's also on sale!!

I'm not sure what it is about 2017, but it seems to be the year of incredibly cute pyjama sets. Maybe I'm just starting to notice them more, but some of the graphic prints are too cute to pass up. Pyjamas can be very very expensive, and I guess we do spend a lot of out time in bed, so maybe it's worth it? For me, I'm not fussed with buying a cheaper pair. Here are some I looove...
