The off the shoulder trend is not going anywhere this Spring and Summer - yay! - it's in full force and I'm always seeing new patterns and colours I want to add to my wardrobe. I think off the shoulder pieces are so flattering and the little shoulder reveal is very sexy, without showing too much skin. I thought it would be a nice idea to share some staple off the shoulder tops I have in my wardrobe and how I like to style them. This is just a bit of inspo for you guys, I'm not telling you to dress like this, you do you!

| THE CLASSIC WHITE |

I dont think you can wrong with a plain white off the shoulder top. I love how clean and sharp they look with the straight cut neckline. I picked up one from Vero Moda, which is linked below, and it's in a really lovely shirt material which feels great quality, it's the perfect causal option. I love to pair it with some ripped blue jeans, I think the blue and white is such a classic combo. You can also go with some pops of red, like a lipstick or handbag, to finish off the look and really embrace that red, white and blue colour palette.

WEAR WITH...
Ripped blue jeans
Backless loafers
A statement bag
A silk scarf

| THE TIGHT STRIPE |

I think stripes are such a classic too, and a buying tighter, body, style makes it super easy to tuck into skirts and shorts in the summer, and jeans in the spring. I also think the stripes and tighter fit makes it very flattering and a bit more sexy. I love the white stripes paired with a white denim skirt, they go seamlessly together and make a great go-to outfit. I also can't get enough of pom pom sandals, they're back again this year and I think they add such a fun element to the look.

White denim skirt
Pom Pom sandals
Coral lipstick

| THE CHAMBRAY |

I've been really into this blue, chambray material. I think it's super lightweight and flattering and still goes with a ton of stuff, but adds a bit of colour to a look. I also want to pick up a chambray button down as I think they look so relaxed and casual, perfect to throw on. Back to the off the shoulder and I love how casual you can make this, but still look chic and pulled together. Blue and white is such a gorgeous combo, no secrets there, and with the straw bag and nude toned sandals I think this is a timeless, feminine, look. Very French countryside.

White jeans

| THE CLASSIC BLACK |

As well as having a white option in my wardrobe, I love to have a black for more evening occasions. I also think this can be a great transitional piece between seasons. I don't like too many frills when it comes to off the shoulder tops, I find going for a more simple style suits me better, and that's definitely apparent in this post. I think you can really dress this one up with a cute skirt and some over the knee boots, and you can switch out a handbag for a clutch to take it from day to night!

Tassel Cross Body
