A very drugstore makeup shakeup for you all today - minus one product - but I've found some affordable things I've really been loving! If you're new around these parts, these posts basically explain a few things I've incorporated into my makeup routine and have been loving, so lets get into it!

For my base I've been obsessing over the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation. I really wanted a new foundation that was lightweight, dewy, and not too pricey, and this ticks all those boxes. It's a light-medium coverage which blends beautifully into the skin and leaves it looking natural and hydrated. It doesn't cling to any dry patches, which I have a lot of, and I tend to tap this in with my beauty blender to give a flawless finish. I can't believe it's taken me this long to try it, but it's definitely a winner.
Next we have a contour product, I recently did a whole review dedicated on this so I'll link that here. This is the L'Oreal Infallible Sculpt Contour Kit which comes with a cream matte highlight and contour shade. For everyday this is what I've been reaching for as it's very easy to build and the colour is initially fairly subtle. You can use your fingers or a brush with this, the cream to powder formula is really easy to blend, it's long lasting and it sits well on top of your foundation.

For my eyes I've fallen back in love with my Benefit They're Real Mascara. If you want dramatic, false lash looking lashes, this is your guy. It's not cheap, but it works wonders at lengthening and defining the lashes, as well as lasting all day and all night! This is a cult product, but if you haven't tried it and you're a mascara junkie, it's worth the investment.

Liquid lipsticks are definitely having a moment and I thought I would bring back an old friend. For me the Hourglass Opaque Rouge and the Rimmel Apocalypse Lip Lacquers started the whole trend off a couple of years ago. I've been loving my Rimmel one in the shade Celestial which is a very flattering dusty pink nude shade, one I've been seeing a lot of lately. The formula of these are lovely, they aren't sticky, they feel very creamy on the lips and they have great lasting power. If you picked one of these up last year or the year before, I highly recommend you dig it back out as they are such lovely products!

My last product is one I use to lock everything in place and acts as a finishing touch. Another one from the drugstore, the L'oreal Infallible Makeup Fixing Mix is a great setting spray and one that's not too pricey. The Infallible range is so fab from L'Oreal and all the products are designed to really last well on the skin, so it's no surprise this is great. I've tried the Urban Decay one and love it, but they are so similar in formula that I would suggest saving a few pennies and picking up the L'Oreal one instead.
