I love to challenge myself to use only a certain amount of products when I know I don't have the time to apply a full face, and I thought it would be fun to share with you a quick drugstore routine only using five simple products. This is a perfect look for school or work, when you don't want to look too overdone but you still want your features to be enhanced.

For the base, Bourjois Healthy Mix is a lovely medium coverage foundation which sit's beautifully on the skin and evens the skin tone. If you've managed to get a good night sleep, just stick to this, if not, maybe switch this up for a concealer to hide those dark under eyes! This foundation is really great for the price, it's definitely one of my favourites from the drugstore. I like to tap this in with a beauty blender to ensure I'm getting a flawless base. On the cheeks I would opt for a warm toned blush as we aren't using any bronzer today - sad face. My pick is the Bourjois Cream Blush in 04 which is a gorgeous warm pink shade which has a brown undertone to give even more colour to the cheeks. This is a cream to powder formula so it will set in place all day and won't slip and slide as you try to blend it.

I can't forget brows and I couldn't find an eye palette I loved which had a good matte brown in to use, so I had to pick my Soap and Glory Archery Pencil to give them some shape. This is super similar to the Anastasia brow definer, and I love the triangle applicator, it makes getting thick and defined brows super quick and easy. When you first use this it may seem a bit hard but it'll warm up and becomes very easy to use. If you desperately need some form of liner, you could even smudge this into the upper and lower lash lines before moving onto mascara. I'm using the MAX Factor Masterpiece Mascara here which is perfect to give me a dramatic lash look without the clumps. It has a rubber wand which really grips the lashes and coats every one evenly.

On my lips I opted for a bright shade which can easily be dulled down by patting it onto the lips with your finger. I always love to use the Revlon Lip Butters as they are very moisturising and offer good colour pay off. The shade Raspberry Pie is a lovely deep pink berry shade, if you want to take this look from day to night you can blot it on for the day and apply it straight from the bullet at night, both look stunning.
