Brow pomades are something I've wanted to try for a while now, and I was searching high and low for one I may like. The Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade was top of the list, however, after heading to an Illamasqua counter, their Precision Brow Gel in Strike pipped it to the post.

The amazing thing about these brow gels is you literally need the tiniest amount on your brush to fill in the brow, this stuff is super pigmented and should last you a fair while. The shade 'Strike' is a dark brown with a grey/taupe undertone, so it's not going to look too warm or red on the brows, something I struggle to find in a true brown shade. It matches my brows perfectly and it's super easy to blend out to create an effortless brow. The formula is very creamy, yet it sets beautifully on the brows keeping them in place. You can go over with a brow mascara if you like, however I don't feel I need to when I use this. It's very easy to go overboard with this product so make sure you just tap your brush into the product and wipe some of the excess off on the back of your hand, this thing really packs a punch. If you do find you've applied too much product, just take a spoolie to brush it through.

My preferred way to use this is with the Sigma E75 angled brush. Using an angled brush means you can follow the shape of your brow easily, as well as using small strokes to mimic hairs. This brush is fairly small too, making it very easy to use and create a flawless brow. If you are always swooning over brows on Instagram, I would highly recommend you check this out. It's a great product for really defining the brows in a natural way.
