|  BRONTE, LONDON  |
Bonte, The Grand Building, 1-3 The Strand, London, WC2N 5EJ

For mothers day my mum and I always do afternoon tea, it's become somewhat of a tradition. This year I really wanted to take us out of our home town and down to London to go to Bronte. I've heard great things about this place and it didn't disappoint.

As far as aesthetics go, this place nails it. The pink chairs paired with the beautiful mosaic tables look so pretty and very Instagram friendly! It was super easy to find to, so perfect even if you don't know the area so well.

I will definitely be coming back here for brunch as that is meant to be amazing too.

Their #brontea - loving the name - has a lovely menu filled with scrummy sandwiches, scones, of course, and some lovely cakes. I also love the way they present the tea, far from traditional but it's very pretty in these nice little glass boxes. The sandwiches fit in there perfectly.

Everything was very tasty and the jam was homemade, it tasted lovely! The cakes were gorgeous, my favourite was the chocolate eclair, I don't think you can beat beautiful cakes which are super small and super delicious.

The price for this is £24, or £36 with a class of champagne, not too pricey for what you get.

It's safe to say mum loved it too and wants to come back - Big daughter points here! - so Bronte comes highly recommend for a nice, laid back afternoon tea.

For a Saturday it wasn't too busy, but I would still recommend booking as you never know, and it is central London so things can get booked up!

I would love to know what your favourite part of afternoon tea is, the scones? The cakes? Let me know!
