I think just from looking at it you can tell my Soap and Glory Solar Powder (£11.00, 9g) is very well loved. Compiled with two different shades which you can mix or use separately if you're feeling a bit more particular, this is a great choice for everyday. Being both matte shades makes this very wearable and also great for contouring. The darker shade can come off a tad orange if you're on the paler side, but mixed in with the lighter shade which is a lot more neutral toned, it should work a treat.
Application wise, I like a slightly bigger fluffy brush to just sweep this pretty much all over my face. The Real Techniques Blush Brush (£9.99) is a great option as its slightly tapered at the end so if you do want to focus on one area, such as the cheek bones, you can.
The only thing I'm not so keen on is the packaging. I find cardboard can become useless after a certain amount of time and is prone to falling apart. I haven't had any problems thus far so I guess I'll just sweep that to one side.
For the price I really don't think you can beat this bronzer. Yes, its been hyped a lot, but all for good reason, so I would definitely recommend this.
I'm a big fan of Soap and Glory's makeup line and this looks really nice! x

I really like this bronzer and I use it every day, however the darkest color isn't pigmented AT ALL? I think I'm about to hit pan on the lightest shade and I swipe my brush all over the product.. Maybe it's just mine?

Why is it only my S&G Solar Powder looks like it’s been run over by a car! Mine is in two halves and looks a right mess. I wouldn’t say it’s my favourite bronzer, I actually don’t find the darker shade all that pigmented and I don’t use the lightest shade much at all.

I love that RT brush for bronzer as well! Wish we got more Soap & Glory makeup here in Canada - this looks great.

I really love the glow powder which (until recently) came in the same style packaging. Mine's in absolute bits, so I totally know what you mean.
ReplyDeleteReally want to give this a go! And the peachy one!
