I looove me a primer. Even on the most minimal of makeup days, I will always reach for primer or two. Not so much to make sure my makeup doesn't diminish into a state of nothingness throughout the day - although that definitely is a bonus - but to make my skin look a little better without piling on the foundation.

In winter, I will always grab for those dewy primers which give you that amazing supermodel glowing skin in about two seconds. They are the bees knees, am I right?! I just feel like a bucketload of glow is exactly what my skin needs when it's looking lacklustre and dull.

I have three primer options which I want to share with you today. All of which are very 'winter skin' appropriate, and can even be layered on those days you're feeling a bit extra.

The first is one I love to transition from those warm summer days where a good ol' tan is on the cards - aaa, how I miss thee - into the cold days where you can't tell where my white socks end, and my legs start...pale girl problems, eh?

So, on days when I'm feeling hella pale - aka all the time - I will reach for my This Works Perfect Look Skin Miracle. This adds a nice warm glow, without giving off Wotsist vibes. It is also fab at evening out the tone of my skin, therefore spending less time on foundation and concealer. Winner.

If you don't wear a lot of makeup, this is a great option as it's such a simple product to use, but makes a big difference. It's also surprisingly hydrating for a bronzing primer, which is such a bonus during the cold months.

If you're after a primer which is going to smooth over any imperfections and add a slight dose of radiance, the NARS Radiance Primer has you covered.

When I think of a radiance primer, I think of a product which contains quite a lot of shimmer, or has a very evident champagne or golden glow. This however, doesn't have either of those properties, but still does a fantastic job a brightening the complexion.

It's peachy in colour, so is great for sallow skin, and I always love to layer this up with something either pore minimising, or one which adds even more of a glow, like the one I'm going to mention next.

If you haven't tried NARS base products before, where have you been??? They're some of the best on the market! And a little tip if you're a student...you can pick NARS up on ASOS, so you can get a cheeky little discount with Unidays.

Last but not least, we have the Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow. Now this stuff IS evidently glowing and gives your skin a gorgeous lit from within look.

I don't find this the most glowy primer in the whole world. Sorry to break it to you. BUT I do really love the subtle natural dew this gives off. Under foundation it looks stunning, and like you have a super nourished, gorgeous complexion.

So, there we have it. A little run-down of some priming products I'm loving at the moment. Hopefully there's something for everyone here.

A little honourable mention to Benefit Porefessional if you suffer with larger pores! Soz I didn't photograph this, I completely forgot about this little bottle of wonder, but it's great.

Three Primers You Need For The Upcoming Winter Months.

Winter, for me, equals dry skin...anyone else? As soon as the colder weather hits I all of sudden turn into some kind of snake who starts shedding their skin. Attractive right. But seriously, it's an issue I battle with every single winter, so I always rummage through my skincare stash to see what I can use to help add some moisture to my skin.

The products I'm going to mention aren't particular to any AM, or PM routine, apart from the serums but I'll get onto that! I pretty much whack these out when I feel the need to, and whenever I feel like my skin is in dyer need of some hydration. So, all the time pretty much.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Sleeping Mask: Oohh lorddyyy, this is what parched skin dreams are made of. If you have dry/dehydrated skin you need this in your life. In the UK you can purchase this from Cult Beauty, and if the millennial pink packaging doesn't sell it to you, then what's inside certainly will. It's quite a liquidy formula which sinks in surprisingly well, yet leaves your skin so so soft and nourished. I either use this overnight, or in the morning if I'm having a no-makeup, at home day. It doesn't leave any residue on your pillow which is also a bonus! The scent is amazing as well, super fresh!

Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate: This stuff seems to always creep back into my routine. It seems to cure all my skins woes, so of course I'm including it in todays post. This is something I tend to use exclusively in the evenings as part of my PM routine. I pop this on before my moisturiser and I just love how my skin looks in the mornings. The formula makes my skin feel, and look, so glowy and nourished. I can't get enough. If I'm having an extra dry skin day, and I know my makeup is going to look hella sketchy, then I will put this on in the morning and it keeps my skin hydrated all day long.

Glossier Super Bounce Serum: Out of all the Glossier serums, this one definitely seems to be the most loved. And for good reason. Even though £24 only gets you 15ml of product (boooo!) it's an amazing formula which my skin laps up in the morning. For dehydrated skin this is a must-have, and even if you're not really buying into the Glossier hype, I do think this is worth it.

Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist: This is quickly becoming one of favourite skincare products EVER. It makes my skin feel so plumped, and so hydrated, I can't put it down. Even in the summer, this was a must for me, so it's no surprise I'm still obsessed. I tend to spray this into my hands, then pat it onto my skin. This way, I feel like I'm not wasting any of the product, and by pressing it in it can get to work straight away. Although the spray is very fine and lovely, I just find half of it misses my face and disperses around the room. A good tip if you have the same issue.

So there's a quick little run-down of some of the skincare products I've been loving lately. If your skin is dry, or dehydrated, these all work wonders for me so I highly recommend them! If you have any other skincare bits and bobs you think I'd really love, then please let me know, I'm always on the hunt for new, amazing skincare.

Thank you to Threepipe and L'Occitane for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.

I must admit, getting my body prepped for winter is a task I put off until it's basically too late...Not this year though, I'm determined to get ahead of the dry-skin game and get my body Victoria Secret Fashion Show ready! Ok...clearly I'm not going to be walking in the VS fashion show anytime soon, but ya know, motivation and all.

Okay, first things first, bodycare! L'Occitane have some gorgeous body products on offer, that's no secret, so I'm going to run down a few of my favourites. And, if you're already thinking about that all important Chirstmas shopping - ooo, the C word - then they have some fabulous Christmas Gift sets for mum...that is if you're mum is anything like mine and completely L'Occitane obsessed! I'll link those up here for you to have a peek!

Warning: These aren't actually edible, despite using the phrase "good enough to eat" approximately  46721 times in this post...so let's get into it shall we.

Almond Shower Oil*: This stuff is just dreamy. Both mum and I love and use this all the god damn time, and this must be about the 3rd bottle we've had in our shower arsenal. Safe to say we love it. If you're a fan of sweet smelling body care which makes your skin feel like silk, look no further. The formula is amazing, an oil that turns into a milky consistency once used with water.

Almond Supple Skin Oil: lAnother one I love, and as you can see, there is hardly any of this stuff left. Time for a repurchase me thinks! Along with the shower oil, this will give of the same almondy scent along with the amazing skincare benefits. A soft skin duo made in heaven!! If you've tried the shower oil and love it, pick this up next and you won't be disappointed.

Almond Refining Concentrate*: This one I love to use in the mornings. Again, the almond scent has me hooked. I just can't get enough of it guys! This one contains caffeine, so it's going to help wake up the skin and tone. This isn't an oil, it's definitely a cream formula which feels very luxurious to use.

Delicious Almond Hand Cream: This is that last almond product, I promise!! If you really want to smell like a bakewell tart, then why not add their almond hand cream to the mix! I love L'Occitane hand creams, it's something the brand does super super well. They sink in quickly and the scent is there, but not too overpowering. A handbag staple, for sure.

Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Cream*: Skincare is something I haven't really tried before from L'Occitane, I was all about their body products! When this came into my routine I was excited to give a try. It has a gorgeous fresh florally scent, yes, floral, not almond, which I really love and it feels so soft to use on the skin. It's the perfect moisturiser for those days where you don't want a very thick layer of product sitting on the skin, but you don't want something that will just be eaten away by your parched skin in 0.5 seconds. This sits somewhere in the middle, but still gives your skin a nice dose of moisture and nourishment.
